Depositing into Macquarie University ResearchOnline

Material included in the repository should be of a research or scholarly nature. This includes digital copies of:

• Journal articles
• Conference papers
• Books and book chapters
• Theses - post-graduate research or coursework, and undergraduate theses where deposit is approved by the Dean
• Working papers
• Discussion papers
• Images
• Datasets
• Multimedia, e.g. sound files, video files or mixed files
• Documentation of creative works
• Documentation of patents
• Digital versions of Library collections
• Articles for a journal published by Macquarie University, including where the author is not a Macquarie staff, student or affiliate
• Conference papers for a conference hosted by Macquarie University, including where the author is not a Macquarie staff, student or affiliate
• Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) or Research Quality Framework (RQF) reportable material
• Other material produced by staff or students that has been approved by the relevant Deputy Vice-Chancellor or Head of Division/Department/Office or their nominee
• Other categories of material may be acceptable with the ultimate decision the responsibility of the University Librarian
