Requirements Engineering process quality influences the quality of the software produced due to its critical role in the Software Development Life Cycle. To ensure that software quality is continually being improved, it is this important to ensure continuous Requirements Engineering process improvement. This involves identifying the poor quality requirements and the process problems that cause them, prioritizing the process problems for elimination and improving the process by eliminating the causes. All of these activities are driven by rationale based on numerous organizational factors such as business goals. We attempt to standardize a method for Requirements Engineering process improvement rationale capture and reuse through a strategy as demonstrated in our case study.
