Description: In the title compound, C₁₇H₁₆Br₂N₂, the 1,7-dibromo-2,8-dimethyl analogue of Tröger’s base, the aryl rings are offset with respect to one another. The dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 97.47 (5)°; the molecule is C₂-symmetric.
