- Description
- We have investigated a simple scheme based on the combination of two intra-cavity non-linear processes, stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) in Ba(NO₃)₂ and second harmonic generation (SHG) in Lithium tri-borate (LBO), which efficiently convert the 1064nm fundamental of a Nd:YVO₄ laser to produce orange light at 598nm. Average power up to 5mW has been generated at 598nm, for a 1.6W diode laser pump.
