Description: WS-BPEL is for specifying business process behaviour based on Web services. Business processes can be very long and encounter expected or unexpected exceptions. Compensations, or dealing with faults, can be a long, complex and imperfect process. In this paper, the FCT-Handlers of WS-BPEL are analysed to show the features that might be modified to be suitable for the real business processes in 3rd party logistics applications.
